Cornell 4HC hire
The 4HC high-pressure pump from Cornell is a self-priming centrifugal pump with a diesel engine mounted in a sound-deadening casing. This pump set is self-priming because it uses an internal vacuum pump. As a result, you can switch on the high-pressure pump immediately without having to fill it with water first. The pump develops a pressure head of 137 metres (13.7 bars). Furthermore, the pump has a pumping capacity of 320 m3 per hour. For details of the pump capacity against lift height (head), please refer to the graph in the specifications table.
High-pressure pumps like the Cornell 4HC centrifugal pump are commonly used in the industry to pipe systems that are to be cleaned and storage tanks for testing for leaks. In addition to these applications, the pumps are used as an irrigation/deluge spraying pump, a fire pump or a booster pump in a temporary pump system. The sound-deadening casing makes this pump a safe choice for projects where work takes place in the vicinity of the pump.
