Hidrostal Betsy-300 hire
The Betsy 300 from Hidrostal is a versatile, dry self-priming pump that is deployed as a polluted water pump. This centrifugal pump is powered by a 51 kW diesel engine. As a result, the pump has a capacity of 1200 m³ per hour and a lift height of 22 metres. The Betsy 300 is equipped with a vacuum system and a vacuum pump. This pump, which is suitable for dry mounting, guarantees you powerful suction performance, equating to a suction height of 8 to 9 metres or a suction pipe length of between 70 and 100 metres. There is no need to prime this pump with water beforehand. So you can deploy the pump easily and quickly.
Thanks to the fairly large free passage size in this water pump, it is capable of pumping viscous liquids and liquids containing large solids. This makes the Betsy 300 suitable for use in a variety of applications. For example, it is a popular choice in sectors such as the marine & offshore and the public sector. One memorable project involved using three Betsy 300 pumps in Rotterdam to allow successful completion of a major sewer refurbishment contract. In addition to deploying these pumps, Eekels also set up a bypass for this project, with a temporary pipe between the sewer inspection chambers to divert the flow of water. The Betsy 300 is supplied as a sound-attenuated unit as standard. This keeps the noise level down to a level that is either not noticeable, or hardly noticeable, for residents.
