Eekels Pompen continues to invest: chemical-resistant, 4-inch diesel engine pump sets have been added to the rental fleet.
The Eekels Pompen location in Barendrecht is situated close to the Europoort Industrial Zone. And, of course, we also have a support point at the Chemelot industrial complex in Geleen. This makes the lines of communication with the end users and clients exceptionally short. That is how we ended up receiving various requests to add a 4” model to our existing range of chemical-resistant, 6” and 8” diesel-driven pump sets. A request that we were more than happy to fulfil. Because responding rapidly to the demands of the market is Eekels’ main strength.
The new sound-attenuated 4” pump sets have an extremely high fuel efficiency and are ideally suited to pumping a wide range of hazardous and corrosive liquids used in the petrochemical and chemical industry. In addition, the pumps are dry self-priming, which means that at start-up, the main pump quickly, and automatically, fills with the liquid being pumped.
The pump sets are ideal for the following applications (among others):
- pumping a wide range of hazardous and corrosive (liquid) chemicals
- the petrochemical and chemical industry
- sewage system renovation work at chemical plants
- keeping catch pits and basements dry
- pumping contaminated sludge and viscous liquids
- soil remediation projects
