Eekels supplies pump system to a chemicals producer in Germany
Our business activities regularly extend (far) beyond our national borders. We were recently in Germany to install a pump system at the site of a company active in the chemical industry. We set up two type DN200 pumps for this customer. These pumps are specifically designed for major water supply projects. The DN200 is reliable, easy to maintain and has extremely low running costs. Furthermore, this pump stands out for its ease of servicing. A maximum capacity of 720 m3/hour and lift heights of up to as much as 32 metres can easily be attained with the DN200.
Optimal reliability
One of the two pumps has been set up as the main pump and the other pump is a back-up. The back-up automatically takes over from the main pump if it stops operating for any reason. An adequate supply of fuel is guaranteed by two spare tanks supplied by RECO, our equipment partner. Other than the two pumps, we also installed all the piping and erected two pipe bridges. In addition, we fitted alarm units to the system and have our team standing by for alarm response in the event of faults, and for servicing the equipment in Germany. This optimal package guarantees the customer continuous and adequate pump performance.
