Temporary sewer bypass in Rotterdam with Betsy 300 diesel engine pumps

Eekels Pompen supplied three Betsy 300 pumps including discharge pipes for a sewer pipe refurbishment project in Rotterdam.  The bypass was set up between manholes in the street so that a section of the sewer could be refurbished. For this project, Eekels Pompen handled installation of all the pumping equipment.

The polluted water bypass required a total capacity of 2,500 m3 per hour. So, Eekels Pompen installed a temporary pump system consisting of three Betsy 300 diesel-driven pumps.

Thanks to this unique impeller, the Betsy pumps transport your unprocessed sewer water containing solid components with ease. What’s more, these pumps can also be used in residential neighbourhoods thanks to their noise-reducing housings.
